I joined the Angel Eyes team in January 2026 as an eye clinicianhelping to lead the virtual reality sessions and supporting families. Iqualified as an Optometrist with a first class degree from Ulster Universityand worked in Bath for several years in a local optician’s practice, as asupervisor for the final year optometry students in the University of WestEngland, and in the Bristol Eye Hospital, where I mainly worked within thepaediatric eye service. I moved back to Northern Ireland with my husband, Josh,after having my son, Ben, and deciding he needed a Northern Irish accent. 

I have recently completed the Higher Certificate in Paediatric EyeCare, and I have a real passion for working with children and their families. Ifirmly believe that knowledge is power, and by equipping families withunderstanding about their child’s vision and day to day experience, we are ableto implement practical strategies to help maximise their vision and withemotional support.
