Education Support

“The statutory assessment and Statementing process is one of the most difficult we have had to navigate as A’s parents. We felt completely disempowered and hopeless. Without K we would have been lost. She helped us through every step of the way to finally secure a Statement that reflected our daughter’s needs.”

Education Advocacy

We know Education is central to the success of children reaching their potential. We also know, it can be difficult to both understand what services are available for your child and how to access them.

Our Education Advocacy Service is here for you. We will:

  • Demystify the language and jargon around educational support
  • Provide advice and guidance regarding your child’s access to learning in school and at home
  • Provide support at school meetings, multidisciplinary or other educational meetings
  • Provide advice and guidance on what support services are available for your child and actively help you access these
  • Support you in improving the educational outcomes for your child
  • Signpost and refer you to other agencies that may be beneficial to you and your child

This service is bespoke and responsive to your needs. Therefore, this is not an exhaustive list. Should you have any questions regarding your child’s educational journey do not hesitate to contact us.

‘’The Advocate provides support for me by attending meetings with university staff to ensure my voice is heard and my experience is considered in decision making processes. She also helps support me through unfamiliar processes such as student finance applications.’’
